Broken image #176
Comments
On Linux I can see bitmaps attached to image widgets but only those created with the previous version of Pencel (2.x). But when I try to export such an image to PNG or PDF it's exported as a broken image, like this one. |
I have the same problem Windows 10, Pencil version: 3.0.0.-rc2 |
Same on Pencil v3.0.2. V3.0.3 and v3.0.4 cause properties sidebar not to be displayed, so I'm still using v3.0.2. |
@ruipimentel Could you please post an issue detailing the missing sidebar in v3.0.4? |
I'm having the same issue on Mac with Pencil ver 3.0.4. My images are not big, even then it's missing the images. How do I fix this? |
I have the same problem here using windows 10 and pencil 3.0.4. Does anyone know how to fix? The weird part is that some screens keep the images, and others, the image is replaced by placeholder.... :( |
any solution yet??? |
Same problem here..how did you guys solve it? |
it can not be solved at the product end as we waited for the community to
share any feedback. The only workaround we did is
- keep all the image files on a common/same folder
- save source files often
- keep 2 separate backup files

Kind Regards,

The images that I had in my pencil document appear to have been broken / corrupted / lost. I now just see a broken image placeholder instead:
