Adding travis build configuration and docs

Note - if you decide to accept this PR, a few things would need to be changed for it to work:

1. The encrypted API key specified in .travis.yml (line 41) - it's specific to my GitHub account.
2. References to "snowrider311" in the docs and ubuntu_16.04_lts_package.sh

However, it does build a usable Debian package (on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).

Hi,
I would prefer to leave the plugin disto-independent. I would be happy to include a link to detailed build instructions on a specific platform which is not already covered.. There are a number of different platforms the plugin is already being compiled, and I would prefer to package it up using an external tool. Ideally, it needs to be included in the distribution of your choice by package maintainers. Alternatively, you may build your ppa repository which I would also be happy to link here, if you're willing to maintain it. Hope you understand.
