Description
#7967 was reverted because the logging to stdout interfered with the CLI'd autoupdating, and probably would have been super-annoying for people trying to use the CLI...
Importing the Set function directly is the recommended way to avoid this logging.
Testing
I built the CLI locally and it didn't spit out spurious log messages on stdout.
