Description

This may be Synapse's fault, but I think Riot is also being a bit weird here.

Essentially a room (!yUlsMHhIwEptPzkvfU:maunium.net), which I had set to Mentions Only, was upgraded. I joined the upgraded room then started receiving notifications from it. Riot doesn't show the room as having loud notifications (it doesn't put a number next to the room name), but it does bold the room name.

When I right-click on the room name it shows that the room is set to "All Messages".

Logs: not sent due to log server 500'ing

After clicking on the room notification numbers are now showing up next to the room name, so this is probably a Synapse issue.
