  • @BillCarsonFr created a new account on app (no cross-signing) and set up key backup, sent 1 encrypted message
  • Logged in to develop, prompted to upgrade encryption during auth flow
  • (Meant to copy account password, unclear if it did so)
  • Unable to finish upgrade flow, got a secret storage error

Okay, I can reproduce this one.

Pass along key backup for bootstrap
e1a496f 
If we ask for the key backup key early in creating secret storage to ensure we
trust the backup, then we stash it to ensure it's available to bootstrap as well
without prompting again.
