Steps to reproduce
Element Desktop crashes directly after start since the latest update. Started from inside the app, but same behaviour after donwloading/reinstalling from https://element.io/download (so I assume the latest stable version).
macOS BigSur 11.7.10 on a MacBookPro Retina 15" (Intel Chip with nVidia graphics card)

Starting the App after updating it

The app crashed directly after start

firtst in-app update, then reinstalled from https://element.io/download
