Summary
Previously,
docLinks
was only exposed onCoreStart
. However, there are cases where it is useful to have it inCoreSetup
, for example where you might be usinguiSettings.register()
to register a setting that contains a link in the description.Since
docLinks
only requiresinjectedMetadata
to do its thing, we can easily move it tosetup
and simply return the same value from both lifecycles.Checklist
