How about logging error once? This error could happen numerous times and we want to avoid flooding console. isCompatible is called a lot

No need to set in constructor. This can just be private errorLogged = false;
Also, make private is since its only used internally.

## Summary Related to elastic#197870. The bug reported in elastic#197870 was a side effect of unhandled errors in the `isCompatible` check on the edit drilldown `uiAction`.
