Kibana sets the timepicker to wrong dates (from is in the future) if user brushes on a column in vertical bar chart

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): from staging

Describe the bug:
Please note visualization:visualize:legacyChartsLibrary is set to default here (its off by default) So I am using new charts.

If I brush on bars of split-on-column- buckets vertical bar chart - Kibana displays empty screen and sets the timepicker - from date to future.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install sample logs data - go to visualize - > click create -> pick xy aggregation -> pick vertical bar chart
2. Set y axis to count-> data histogram for x-axis and then split the chart on columns on terms buckets on machine.os-keyword - kibana displays a vertical bar chart

3. Now try to brush on one of the bars of the chart
4. Kibana displays empty screen and timeperiod from date gets set to future.
