Filter does not work in Controls visualization

Describe the bug: The filter added using add filter does not work in Controls. Suppose, I want to filter on the basis of category and in Control I want to select the names, this is not happening, It is showing all the names irrespective of category. This means Category filter is not being effective.

Closing this one, because the new Controls work properly with Filters inherited from the dashboard.
