curl -XPUT localhost:9200/test2/test2/%2ftmp%2ffile -d '{ "field": 0 }'

Now in discover find the record, expand it, and click on "Link to /test2/test2//tmp/file" and it doesn't take you to that document

I'm guessing you're talking about the link in the summary view in Discover?
