Description

The Getting Started page headings must be marked up using semantic heading tags to be announced to screen readers. Screen reader users primarily navigate by headings. Screenshots attached below.

Steps to recreate

  1. Open the QA environment and create a new Security serverless project if none exist
  2. Once your Security project is created, open it and turn on a screen reader of your choice
  3. Load the Getting Started page (should be by default, but just in case)
  4. Open HeadingsMap extension or your preferred screen reader
  5. If using a screen reader, traverse the page by headings only to hear the perceived importance of information

Environment

  • MacOS Ventura
  • Safari latest
  • VoiceOver

Acceptance criteria

  • Headings are properly nested to support their perceived importance level
  • Visual design remains consistent (text headers don't change size, just semantic level
