This is an issue to track work on implementing Contextual data presentation in Discover.

On a high level this means:

  • Remove existing Discover customization profile system
  • Implementing a new Discover URL structure:
    • Migrate URL format to one which supports various data sources
    • Update the application URL state in Discover to work with the new URL structure
    • Redirect legacy Discover URLs to the new URL structure
  • Implement Contextual awareness architecture
  • Implement data source context resolution
  • Implement document context resolution
  • Implement extension points
