Mediakeys script for Autohotkey

Script Autohotkey for adding global hotkeys that emulate media keys. This can be useful if your keyboard lacks physical media keys and you are using the player without the ability to assign global hotkeys, such as Spotify.

Installation

1. Install Autohotkey
2. Clone or just download this repository to your computer
3. To automatically run the script when the OS boots in the Windows startup folder, create a shortcut leading to Mediakeys.ahk

Media keys shortcuts for AutoHotkey

• Ctrl + Insert : Pause
• Ctrl + Alt + Page Down : Next
• Ctrl + Alt + Page Up : Previous
• Ctrl + Alt + ↑ : Volume up
• Ctrl + Alt + ↓ : Volume down
• Ctrl + Alt + * : Mute
