Strange as it may seem -- and as if DocBook really needs more page masters -- I have articles that start as a two-page spread, with the first page on the right. For better or worse, it's not possible to either override or augment the page masters for an individual set of page masters, so, if possible, I'd rather have one page master added to the standard distribution than have to maintain a private copy of a 2,400-line template.
