Hedgehog Standard instalation.
When trying to see plot "Busiest Client Locations By City", the graph area shows an error, which in the console states as "Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error".

Can you tell us which browser you are using please?

I'm using Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit), which is where the error is showing. On Firefox 53.0.3 (32-bit) the problem also manifests.

Thanks. I'm not able to reproduce this locally and it works fine on the ICANN Hedgehog server too so I'm trying to figure out what is different for you. I've never come across this kind of authentication issue before. What OS's are you using for the Hedgehog install and to view the graphs?

The Hedgehog Presenter Server is a Ububtu 14.04 LTS as required. The OS of the browser I'm using to access the webpage is a Windows 7 Pro.
During install, I've updated r-base to version 3.1.1, upgraded from 3.0.1. Might that have something to do with this?

Thanks for the info. I also have R 3.1.1 on my test machine so I don't think that is the problem. I've just tried using Chrome from a Windows 10 machine to my test server and I don't see the problem.

Actually some more digging indicates this might be a problem with newer installations. Let me test a workaround and I'll get back to you.

Hi,

What error are you seeing in the graph area?

Thanks
John

See attched image. It is in portuguese, but it translates to "Ups, an error occurred".

Hi,

It looks like the API we are using doesn't support passing in a key. We are in the process of asking the googleVis and Google about this.

regards
John

Hi,

Has there been any developments on this matter? From what I can see, no updates have been made to the sources.
Thanks in advance!
