Introduction

This document provides the latest release information for the Digi IoT Library for .NET MAUI, which allows customers to easily develop cross-platform mobile applications applications that communicate with Digi devices over Bluetooth Low Energy.

  1. Supported Hardware:

    • Digi ConnectCore devices.
    • Digi XBee 3 devices:
      • XBee 3 Zigbee
      • XBee 3 802.15.4
      • XBee 3 DigiMesh
      • XBee 3 Cellular
      • XBee 3 BLU

  2. Changes with respect to previous version:

    • Added the possibility to force location permissions request when validating the Bluetooth status.
    • Made permissions request operations synchronous.
    • Do not fire a Bluetooth status event if the previous status is 'Unknown'.
    • Added support to advertise beacon frames.
    • Fixed an issue causing connection issues with XBee devices on some smartphones.
    • Updated the 'Plugin.BLE' library dependency to version 3.1.0.
    • Added a new method to get the advertised name of a device.
    • Added a set of APIs to provision Digi devices to the Digi Remote Manager (DRM) cloud.
