This error is common with names of songs with accented characters, or some quotes generating an error, as a result, the Library doesn't update.

Yeah, there are still some issues with non-ASCII filenames. Sorry for that! There's already an issue to deal with them, #315.
For the record, which OS and which python --version are you using?
python --version

Oops! I didn't read it, sorry... I'm using Mac OS X 10.8.4 with Python 2.7.2
Thanks for the info! And no worries, the title of the other issue isn't exactly suggestive of this bug. I'll change it to something more significant.
You could try to use python 3 until we get this fixed; it should be quite content to handle un-american filenames. 🐨
