Install git

First, in your brand-new Ubuntu machine do

sudo apt install git

Clone this repo

git clone https://github.com/danimateos/vm-config-master.git
cd vm-config-master/

Install the required software

bash install_everything.sh

During Anaconda install, say yes to everything except to installing Microsoft VSCode.

Optional but strongly recommended

Install Virtualbox Guest additions inside your guest OS to get shared clipborad and drag and drop between host and guest. This might need more config work to get working reliaby.

Install Virtualbox Extension Pack in your host OS (your usual OS).

Get the data

We can only provide the data in person, so ping one of us if you are doing this on your own
