+The old Python-based [mautrix-signal](https://github.com/mautrix/signal) bridge is no longer maintained upstream. It's also known to have issues linking new devices.

+It seems like the path forward is to switch to the new mautrix-signal bridge written in Golang, which we did thanks to [PR #3031](https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy/pull/3041) by [Pierre 'McFly' Marty](https://github.com/pm-McFly).
