Hi Hernan,

thanks for the PR.

I am not sure about a GA release yet. Taking the recent hiccups into consideration, I am leaning towards adding integration tests first 1, and maybe also address the metrics gathering through GH-105 or similar. Are we sure the "read path" also works?

I think the nightly Docker images are sufficient to advertise them for testing and evaluation purposes. Let me know if there is a demand for a build to be published to https://cdn.crate.io/downloads/dist/prometheus/.

I am not sure about a GA release yet.

All significant blockers have been resolved.
