This avoids masking some error/problem messages, and allows easier inspection of installed package versions. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <[email protected]>
The issue opened upstream to address this was resolved in newer versions of packer. Also remove some unused variable definitions. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <[email protected]>
Cirrus-CI does not invalidate cached images due to ADD/COPY instructions. This makes it likely that some changes will not be reflected in the image_builder container. Specifically, updating to a new version of packer. Fix this by storing the value in `.cirrus.yml` and reading it out as needed. This allows for a single source of truth, at the expense of additional `Containerfile` complexity. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <[email protected]>
* Roll the Fedora image and checksum variables forward. * Limited now depricated `python3-pytoml` to <F34, replaced with `python3-toml`. Similar change made for Ubuntu 20.10. * Don't enable rngd service inside container images, it's not needed. * Remove defunct skopeo-containers package Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <[email protected]>
This package adds a podman wrapper called 'docker'. It's needed specifically for podman-compose testing. Download and cache the package for that use. Note: Package is not installed, out of an abundance of caution that having a `docker` available may introduce side-effects somewhere. Signed-off-by: Chris Evich <[email protected]>
