We've generally unpinned the arrow pinning for this in conda-forge (hence the patching) unlike the pypi releases

Sadly there are problems I have not been able to solve #125

Any help would be appreciated. I don't have a lot of time to devote to this and I've already exhausted the ideas I had on how to get the build working.

Even pre v3 here the main builds are failing in Linux with segfaults at runtime since #123 (comment)
