I need to build msys2 package on a x86 architecture but the process is failing.

It seems that it cannot found libgdbm-1.18.1-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz, gdbm-1.18.1-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz and libiconv-devel-1.16-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz packages when installing msys2.
When looking at https://repo.msys2.org/msys/i686, the above packages are not present indeed.

run into same problem on Win 64.

pacman -Suy failed with invalid signature, corrupt database error. msys2/MSYS2-packages#2058
