Preparation for HIRun2024A: DeDxEstimator Failure for HIForward

Hello all. I am creating this issue to open investigation on a problem affecting one HIForward job. The error message is:

BadRefCore RefCore: Request to resolve a null or invalid reference to a product of type 'std::vector<reco::DeDxHitInfo>' has been detected.
Please modify the calling code to test validity before dereferencing.
