This is a tracking issue for work to upgrade vitest-environment-miniflare to miniflare@3. At the moment, we're not planning to upgrade jest-environment-miniflare to miniflare@3. We encourage users to Migrate to Vitest once this work is complete, as it provides improved support for TypeScript and ES modules.

Hey everyone! 👋 We recently announced the launch of the Workers Vitest integration: https://blog.cloudflare.com/workers-vitest-integration! 🎉 This uses Miniflare 3 and workerd internally.

Please follow this migration guide if you're upgrading from vitest-environment-miniflare. We're also encouraging users of unstable_dev() to migrate too.
