It has a command-line option for the maximum number of Kive runs to launch at one time, but it usually runs at about half that number. The problem is that the MIDI samples seem to process faster than their whole-genome partners. A run with lots of HCV samples ends up waiting for the whole-genome samples while still counting the finished MIDI samples as active.

Don't count finished samples as active when their partner is still unfinished.
