@tobyhodges the Build markdown source files if valid is failing here, because the old artifact for a pr number is still available (the default retention period is 90 days AFAIK).

I do wonder though if it is actually necessary to upload it as an artifact or you could get it from the GITHUB_REF environment variable: actions/checkout#58 (comment)
