@JulianKarlBauer I had the same issue. Seems like by default gitpod tries to trim trailing whitespace. There's an option in the settings to disable this behaviour. Also gitpod-io/gitpod#896 |

The trailing space issue is now fixed. We should no longer see this while using GitPod. |
