Would love to have a way to easily sync with banks. I think there is some kind of protocol many banks use, HBCI, maybe it could be implemented in a generic way?

Another important feature would be to auto-download and store transactions with some way to easily see and analyse them in future – many banks in Europe store only last 12 months worth of transactions =(

There should also be a way to tag/mark and later on search/filter transactions.
Use-case: mark some transactions as tax-deductible and easily return back to them next year when doing taxes.

And, again, if there would be a way to contribute to the project, me (and I am sure others too) could contribute in one way or another

I'll add this one to the list, too (used them temporarily but was too expensive at the time): https://www.saltedge.com/
