Configuration 應該翻譯為【組態】而不是【設定】 #20

建議

  • Configuration: 組態
  • Edit Configuration: 編輯組態

雖然網路上看到 Configuration 有被翻譯為【設定 or 組態】，但是我個人傾向於:

  • Configuration: 組態
  • Setting: 設定

因此

  • 當我看到 Configuration File 的時候，會翻譯成【組態檔】而不是【設定檔】。
  • 如果原文是用 Profile 來表示某一個檔案的話（雖然兩者意思基本一樣），我才會翻譯為【設定檔】。

如果 Configuration 翻譯為「設定」的話，下面這個字串就會翻譯為：

  • 英文原文: Edit Configuration Settings
  • 繁體中文: 編輯設定設定

嗯...挺怪的
