Connections

Octopus executes tasks using connections, which means the application first needs to connect to the system where the task will be executed. Users with OPERATOR and MASTER role can manage the connections. To manage connections, click the connections link on the side panel. If you did not create a connection yet the screen will guide you to create your first connection.
Select the connection type and enter the required information. You can also test the connection before saving it using the Test button.
There two types of connections in the application;
