binutils installed 6 new packages, then Empress installed first time, on both my PCs that showed the error. Oliver |
Fantastic, thanks @OliverAshton1! Glad that worked. I just created a new issue (#553): we'll add this information to EMPress' documentation to help other people who run into this problem in the future, since I imagine that other WSL users may also encounter this. |
Hello
I am trying to install empress into qiime2 2021.11 on Windows 10 WSL (Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.10.60.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 x86_64)), versions attached. I have attached a copy of the full error below. The rest of Qiime2 works fine for me.
Any help is appreciated.
