Moderators ‐ Adding Giveaways

Adding giveaways is done from https://barter.vg/giveaways/

When you add a giveaway:

• make sure to select the correct giveaway type
• add as much info in the Note field as possible (key count and sub id are a MUST when available)
• make sure to add a double space " " after each line from the Notes field (markdown format for separating lines)
• use ONLY NA / US links to GOG / EGS / Alienware items
• "Link to info" can remain empty most of the times, but you can also add a Reddit / SteamGifts link if you want. Amazon Prime and EGS free weekly games must have "Link to info" pointing to the corresponding SteamGifts topic
• if a giveaway can drop multiple games, a separate giveaway entry must be created for each possible drop type

When you set a giveaway to Inactive:

• make sure that the giveaway ended
• for giveaways with multiple games, make sure to set all to inactive
