Problem/Motivation

Presently, the author entity administration list, /admin/structure/az_author is ordered by id rather than name. This makes it difficult to find a particular author after the fact.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Create authors
  • Visit /admin/structure/az_author
  • Confirm that authors are listed by entity id

Proposed resolution

Order authors by name, instead.

Note that, ideally we'd like to order authors by last name first, but this may not be feasible given that first and last name are entity fields via the field API, and not actually true properties of the entity. However, I think that ordering by name is at least an improvement..
