  • You can now use a single Amazon SQS API call, AWS SDK function, or AWS CLI command to simultaneously create a queue and specify its tags. For more information, see Amazon SQS Cost Allocation Tags in the Amazon SQS Developer Guide and the Tag request parameter of the CreateQueue API action in the Amazon SQS API Reference.
  • Amazon SQS supports the aws:TagKeys and aws:RequestTag AWS keys. For more information, see Actions and Resource Reference in the Amazon SQS Developer Guide.
