Setup

1. Setup your Hasura Cloud first

2. Run Scheme bellow on your hasura console

Installation

1. Clone the application

git clone https://github.com/brotherbarz/next-auth-hasura-cloud-starterkit.git

2. Install necessary dependencies for the application

yarn install

3. Create a .env file and copy the contents from .env.example (present in frontend directory)

4. Generate the RSA keys

openssl genrsa -out private.pem 2048
openssl rsa -in private.pem -pubout > public.pem

5. Print the keys in the escaped format

awk -v ORS='\\n' '1' private.pem

6. Copy the value of the key into the AUTH_PRIVATE_KEY key (in the .env file)

The AUTH_PRIVATE_KEY should look like the following:

7. Create and copy the Facebook client credentials

Create a new Facebook OAuth Client and copy the credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) in your .env file.

8. Start the frontend application

From the frontend directory, we can run the following command to start our Next.js frontend application:

yarn dev

The above command will start the frontend application on http://localhost:3000/.

9. Add JWT_SECRET to your hasura cloud

awk -v ORS='\\n' '1' public.pem

Copy your secret after run above command and go to your Hasura cloud project and add New Env Var :

10. Add ADMIN_SECRET to your hasura cloud
