The wiki is the place to find information about HPM features, a FAQ, minimods and install instructions. Hopefully, it will answer what you need - and want - to know.

HPM follows a specific vision of what the mod should be. That's because I believe that a clear vision and direction for developing something is better than the lumping of several disconnected ideas. Without a clear direction, it's hard to keep the same level of quality and consistency for everything (something that is already hard with a clear direction).
However, people will always disagree about what should be in a mod or not. Enter minimods: tools to customize your experience. They are usually made by other people and might not be compatible with the latest version of HPM (I will try and keep the wiki updated on what's updated or not) - but they might just be what you are looking for.
Minimods are divided in two categories: Cosmetic and Flavour
Cosmetic mods are mods that don't alter gameplay, they just change, well, cosmetic stuff like the map overlay, flags, flag frames, and country colours. I prefer to keep the status quo and let the player decide what he wants for cosmetics, so HPM will always have vanilla graphics, but there's tons of amazing work you can check out - with pictures - in this section.
These minimods usually add something for specific countries - events, decisions, cultures - which for one reason or another were rejected from the main mod. If you want to customize things beyond just cosmetics, this section is what you are looking for.
