Problem: Dutch in Sakhalin, French in Bosnia, Qing in Bengal
Since any country can give any other country military access, armies are sometimes seen taking long cross-continental backpacking trips to places they really shouldn't end up in.

  • The French can invade Bosnia during the Oriental Crisis if vaguely neutral with Austria.
  • The Qing can walk through Burma into Bangladesh during the Opium War, turning a naval conflict into a land war.
  • If Japanese, fighting with the colonial powers will result in at least one sending an army group overland through Siberia.

Resolution: Restrict Miltary Access
Instead of military access being available through normal diplomacy (increase required diplo points to 10), regulate a nation's military access via events trigged by diplomatic status (example: sphere leaders, normal alliances, puppets).

Notes: there was another mod that did this, but I am unable to find it at the moment.
