IN PROGRESS - DO NOT MERGE

  • This PR serves to collect all changes that we intend to release as the 1.0.0 release of apollo-ios.
  • Until 1.0.0 is released, we should continue merging smaller changes into main and releasing them.
  • Occasionally this branch should be brought up-to-date with main, either through a merge or rebase.
  • Smaller feature-focused branches (such as codegen/rfc-v2) should be based off and merged into this branch.

Note that for now this branch shows the changes from remove-swift-codegen-v1 because that's where it was branched from. I will update this branch once that is merged.

This PR lives on at #1876; it's a new PR because you cannot change the branch a PR is based off and release/1.0 was a poor name given this will become the alpha.
