IP clearance for object_store_rs donation #2096
Comments
Not sure if relevant, but all contributors will have signed the InfluxData CLA which may be sufficient |
@tustvold , @crepererum, @domodwyer, @mkmik and @timvw and @wjones127 , and @roeap as part of the IP clearance process to donate the object_store_rs code to the Apache Software Foundation, I am required to remind you that you are responsible for ensuring that you have all the necessary agreements. Specifically, please ensure that a Corporate CLA is recorded if such is required to authorize your contributions under their individual CLA. Please let me know if you have any questions |
I've submitted my ICLA. Thanks for coordinating @alamb ! 🙌 |
Sorry if the request in #2096 (comment) is unclear. It is boiler plate language. In plain English it means I am asking you all to re-ensure that you had the legal right to make contributions to the I don't expect this will be a problem nor do I expect you will need to take any action (as I expect any required permission has already been obtained). However we are giving you notice again in case there are issues or concerns that need to be addressed. To be clear, this request is part of the donation of this code to the Apache Software Foundation in my role as Apache Arrow PMC member. We are am doing the diligence work to try and ensure there are no questions as to the IP rights of this software. You can read more about the clearance process here https://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/ |
Hi @alamb, I had signed the influxdata CLA, and cleared that all is fine from my end that this is donated. However, when I try to access the xml, I get a parsing error displayed right now. If I need to sign something there, I am more then happy to do so, but would need a check if that error is somehow caused on my end. If this confirmation here suffices, even better :). Also from my end, thanks for coordinating this! |
This is great @roeap -- thanks -- I will fix the XML |
