Before I could add a code coverage badge to the README, I had to add some steps to the tests-stable job in the rust.yaml file located at .github/workflows folder. The steps added ensures that the tests which are executed undergo a coverage test and the results are stored in a lcov.info file which codecov, an open-source coverage platform, uses to generate graphs to show the amount of coverage done on the repository
This issue closes #233
