Disable Notifications #35
Comments
I agree wholeheartedly. This notification is extremely annoying - especially since it doesn't even time out on its own. But I agree with the OP that I would prefer to have a configuration option to suppress them entirely. |
hi, I'd like to also have this open to disable notifications... thanks! |
Fixes a bug in the mostly-complete implementation from https://github.com/jgmize/export-tabs-urls/tree/optional-notifications Also address: * alct#16 * alct#35
Available under fork https://github.com/clach04/export-tabs-urls-phoenix and in the store https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/export-tabs-urls-phoenix/ (as well as supporting Edge and Chrome) |
I am aware of issue #16 but I am opening a new one because I am using Export Tabs URLs on Windows and I have no idea how macOS handles notifications.
In short, I would appreciate a check-box in extension options to disable notifications:
I copy URLs quite often and this notification pop-up is a bit annoying for me. I suppose that some users may like these notifications so in my opinion it would be better in stead of removing notifications completely to add an option to disable them. This will make all users happy.
An alternative to notifications would be 'OK' badge which appears on the tool bar icon for a second or two, or the tool bar icon changing its colour (to green, yellow, etc) for 1 or 2 seconds after copy command is executed.
If you think this issue is total duplicate of #16 feel free to close it.
