Please Restore compatibility with MacOS High Sierra #32
Comments
Thank you for your feedback. I believe it should be possible to compile and run the latest version for High Sierra. I don't remember anymore why I did not allow it... but it seems that Xcode allows me to deploy the app for older version of the OS X. If I find the time, I will make an effort for backward compatibility.

Some of us are not able to upgrade from High Sierra, because we need Nvidia Graphic Web Drivers that aren't supported beyond High Sierra.
1.6.6 works great, but I hope I won't be missing out on any new features because I'm stuck at this version 😉
Thanks!

I have posted a newer version compiled for Apple M1 and Intel, https://github.com/alberti42/Volume-Control. The new version is supposed to be compatible with Mavericks (10.9) and onwards. This covers High Sierra (10.13). I am looking forward to hearing your feedback. I could not test it myself because I don't have Mavericks installed nor High Sierra. |
Great that you are working on the compatibility! I did some tests with High Sierra and gave feedback in alberti42/Volume-Control#4 |
