This extension allows system administrators to have system generated messages saved to an activity on the contact.
This extension creates a settings form at civicrm/swmactivities/settings this settings form contains one field "Message Templates to create activities for when sent" which lists System Workflow message templates. Go to this page and select the message templates you would like to be saved as activities.
