Copy element inner text Chrome extension

This Chrome extension allows users to copy the inner text of any element you right-click on a web page to their clipboard.

Steps to Install the Compressed Extension

  1. Download the ZIP compressed extension

  2. Extract the ZIP file contents: Right-click on the downloaded ZIP file and select "Extract here" or "Unzip here." This will extract the extension's contents into a folder.

  3. Access Chrome Extensions:

    • Open Google Chrome on your computer.
    • Click the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner of the browser to open the menu.
    • Select "More tools" in the menu, and then choose "Extensions."
  4. Enable Developer Mode: On the Extensions page, you'll see a checkbox labeled "Developer mode" in the upper-right corner. Activate this checkbox.

  5. Load the Unpacked Extension:

    • Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears after enabling developer mode.
    • Navigate to the folder where you extracted the contents of the extension's ZIP file and select it.
  6. Confirm the Installation: Once you've selected the extension folder, click "Open" or "Select Folder" to confirm the installation.

  7. Extension Installed: The extension will be loaded in Chrome and ready for use. You'll see its icon in the browser's toolbar.
