feat: Migrated bcrypt.GeneratePassword to pdkdf2 and added tests

Description

Closes: #3129

Replaced bcrypt.GenerateFromPassword usage to pdkdf2 to proper use bcrypt api. Also added logic to decrypt through the GenerateFromPassword to ensure backwards compatibility.
