LGTM!
As you mentioned in this comment, I also understand that there are some trade-offs needed in terms of how text is placed at this time. For now, let's revert the text alignment and look for a better solution.

Followup to #58917. Keeps the general code cleanups, but keeps the left alignment for the "Saved" state.

Why?
The Saved state will be seen most of the time, and when it aligns with the column of icons on the left, it looks more intentionally placed, compared to being centered.
