Should we also hide from WP core the Site Logo block for now? I encountered issues with it when trying to integrate the PHP part. More details in WordPress/wordpress-develop#1257 (comment). |

@gziolo Sounds more like a technical issue we need to solve in integration rather than a behavior regression/bug. So maybe we keep it for now and try to get some help backporting those changes ? |
Actually, there is PR from @aristath that might help to resolve the issue with the Site Logo block: #31994. |

After the discussions about the state of the PostAuthor here #24952 it's becoming clear that this block needs more polish/time before considering it stable and we might not have the necessary time to do the required change on time for 5.8.
This PR restores the block behind the plugin flag in order to avoid including it into Core for 5.8.
