CommunityOS is a RaspberryPi distribution designed to work as a replacement for RoboOS, used in Robo3D consumer printer models R2 and C2. It will also work on generic 3D printers being controlled by a RaspberryPi running OctoPrint.
CommunityOS is based on the latest releases of Raspbian, OctoPrint and a selection of useful OctoPrint Plugins. The feature list includes:
- Current stable release of OctoPrint
- Current stable release of Raspbian
- mjpg-streamer with RaspiCam support
- HAProxy configured for http://communityos.local access to OctoPrint's web interface
- Common RaspberryPi touchscreens
- Predefined printer profiles for Robo3D consumer printers
- Many useful OctoPrint Plugins pre-configured
- Currently included UI is a custom version of OctoPrint-TFT

CommunityOS is a Raspbian image building environment. CommunityOS can be used to create current Raspbian images that will run a 3D printer without much user interaction. Configuration options are easily selectable by editing a single configuration file.
CommunityOS is not a prebuilt image for OctoPrint. You cannot just clone this repository and burn it to an SD card. CommunityOS does not contain any of the actual code for OctoPrint, it's associated Plugins, or any support files required to run CommunityOS.
